The Wellness Center's staff are available to provide support via in-person, phone, Zoom or email.
Wellness Centers are located in the following rooms:
Oak Ridge: PL-6
Ponderosa: L-12
El Dorado: A -211
Union Mine: C-105
Independence: Building 13
The Wellness Center's role is to knock down barriers to getting support. You can seek support directly from the Wellness Center for brief services (1-4 sessions). The Wellness Center can also help you find support in the community. We have a working relationship with many community providers, and we are more than willing to establish a link.
The Wellness Center's staff protects students' rights to confidentiality. However there are exceptions.
These include:
1. If you are harming yourself
2. If someone is harming you
3. If you want to harm someone
The Wellness Center's staff does like to connect or include parent/family, but we are cautious and careful with the student's concerns and needs.
